To you who care to support Ponta,

 

PLEASE SUPPORT TENZIN TOO!

 

If you visited Dolphin-Encountours over the last year or perhaps any of the Ponta Dive companies, you may well have met or visited with Tenzin. A petite 60 year old, soft spoken, unassuming woman of chinese decent with a radiant smile full of warmth. Tenzin offered her massage, counseling and balancing services to many of us who escaped the city for a weekend (or more) of tranquil R & R.

Tenzin lived and ran her little business in Dolphin-Encountours staying in one of the 2 man chalets, and was often seen baby sitting or shop sitting or helping out one of the locals with an injured back or foot. She was a true Ponta local, one who added value and vibe to the Ponta atmosphere and to the many people who utilised her services.

Tenzin lost absolutely everything she owned - clothing, cellphones, chinese medicines and books she brought with her from India and Tibet - ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING SHE OWNED!

 

I am making a sincere request to the help-ponta website and to you it's supporters, to also support Tenzin who escaped the fire with her life and only the clothes on her back. She lost her entire client base and was left destitute by the fire.

Tenzin is returning to Mozambique soon and desperately needs support.

 

She has very simple needs (not wants)

1. A Wap Cellphone - your old one, that can connect to email/the web.

2. A pair of sunglasses - R100 ones will do

3. A ladies full swimming costume (small size)

4. 2-3 T-Shirts (girls age 9 will fit)

5. 2 pairs of shorts (size 26 shorts)

6. Pair of children size 13 sandals

 

She is happy to have any of the above as your children's old clothes if they fit the sizes given.
